Created in the center of a living room, completely open and bathed in light, this “blue box” incorporating the kitchen is the pivot of the living space. It replaces an old lengthy kitchen that blocked out the light. It opens at will onto the living-dining room thanks to a wide sliding glass door.
Peppered with fixed openings, the semi-closed kitchen allows the light to circulate by multiplying the views and perspectives. Particular attention has been paid to the details: rounded corners, skirting boards, and frames matching the wood floor, wall lamps mixing with the color of the walls… In the hallway entrance, an illuminated showcase has been built into the filing cabinets. The blue color is used as a central theme throughout the apartment.
