In a residence from the 70s, this apartment was a large open plan to enlarge the space and better benefit from the natural light which enters generously through the large bay windows. The kitchen, separated from yet still connected to the living room, is defined by a mid-high partition, topped with an elegant openwork panel carved into geometric wood, designed and made to measure.
In order to unify the large living room, the old mosaic wood floor was covered with a thin and ecological coating of linoleum. A large storage unit, integrated floor-to-ceiling, creates joins the entrance to the kitchen. The open niches lighten the space, attract the eye, and allow for decorative objects. On the ceiling, a luminous plastered section follows the outline of the openwork panel and runs the light from the entrance to the kitchen.
