This large Haussmanian apartment is home to bright, airy, and pleasant offices. It offers functional and comfortable work spaces, favoring the movement of people and the passage of light. The secretarial area has been decompartmentalized. The removal of wall linings has brought out the elegant old moldings and cornices. The areas where there is intense movement were dressed with a braided flooring (Bolon), as it’s aesthetic, resistant, and softens footsteps. The windows were equipped with electric blinds and curtains. Large cupboards and bookshelves equipped with LED strips offer vast volumes of storage. A refurbished kitchen and bathroom make it easy to turn the space into a residential apartment.
The old joist wood floor has been preserved. It was opened and closed again to run the cables and electrical and computer connections, as false ceilings would have distorted the existing volumes and hidden the existing beautiful molded ceilings. At the same time, the acoustics have been improved thanks to custom made acoustic lighting (suspensions and wall lamps) that bring a modern touch to this classic set.
